Eminence Gala
The Eminence Gala is the Orange County (FL) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. signature program, raising thousands of dollars to benefit Central Florida high school juniors and seniors in support of their continued educational endeavors.
The 16th Eminence Gala will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 7:00pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 5780 Major Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819.
Our goal is to raise $50,000!
Since March of 2006, the Orange County (FL) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has produced the Eminence Gala to showcase youth from all over Central Florida. This program focuses on incentive awards while introducing the honorees to society, exposing them to workshop training in the areas of economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health, and political awareness and involvement.
Young high school juniors and seniors- male and female- have participated in this education-focused program, which encourages and supports academic achievement, while providing life-changing experience in areas such as etiquette, professional development, financial management, college preparation and tours, and physical and mental health awareness. By recognizing high achieving junior and senior students for outstanding scholastics, extracurricular involvement and participation in community service endeavors, we have successfully provided approximately $183,750 in support of continued education.
