Scholarships

The Orange County (FL) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will award five (6) $1,000 scholarships to eligible Black/African American high school seniors from Orange and Osceola counties, as well as one (1) $1,000 scholarship to a Black/African American post-secondary student from Orange or Osceola County in May 2026.

1. Lillian B. Seays Academic Scholarship (One Scholarship Awarded)

2. Melinda Gail Poole Community Service Scholarship (One Scholarship Awarded)

3. Empowerment Scholarship (One Scholarship Awarded)

4. Norma Jean Smith Bynes Performing Arts Scholarship (Two Scholarships Awarded)

5. Monica Harris-Spires Healthcare Scholarship (One Scholarship Awarded)

6. Dr. Shirley Sharpe-Terrell Delta G.E.M.S Scholarship (One Scholarship Awarded)

The deadline for all scholarship applications is Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Note: Immediate family members of Orange County (FL) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are not eligible to apply for these scholarships.
